Sound Designer

  • Salary

    Annual salary system (Amount determined in accordance with corporate regulations, based on experience, ability, etc.)
    Those with specialized skills and abilities will be given extra priority.
    Additionally, we also employ a performance-based incentive system as well.
    Salary Revision: Once per year

  • Job Specifics

    The following, plus any other tasks related to sound production (sound direction)
    ・Creation and management of general game sound
    ・Identification and management of required sound materials
    ・Creation of various sound materials (music, jingles, sound effects, audio processing)
    ・Supervision and direction of audio recording
    ・Sound data construction
    ・Game implementation of sounds
    ・Outsourcing management (orders, inspection of deliverables, negotiation, providing instructions, etc.)

  • Applicant Requirements

    [Essential Requirements]
    ・Development experience with Unreal Engine 4
    ・At least a bare minimum knowledge of music (musical terms and chords, etc.)
    ・Knowledge of sound effects (sound effects for video games, movies, etc.)
    ・Knowledge of sound with regard to video games ("What sort of sounds are needed here?", "How should this sound?", etc.)
    ・Experience with major/mainstream sound-oriented software (Pro Tools, Cubase, Nuendo, etc.)
    ・Knowledge of various values and units related to PC and game consoles (e.g.: calculation of data capacity, etc.)

    ・People with experience in video game sound direction
    ・People with experience in guitars, and/or deep knowledge of music/songs involving guitars
    ・People with knowledge of sound-related middleware (CRI ADX2/Audiokinetic Wwise, etc.)
